Reiki is a powerful healing discipline which works with the universal life energy to reach a deep level of relaxation and peace during the healing and after.

The Reiki session involves using a routine of hand positions on and over your body.  The hand positions correlate with the major organs of the body as well as certain energy centres.  There are no negative side effects from this treatment and you remain fully clothed throughout the treatment.

Reiki is a powerful healing discipline which works with universal life energy to reach a deep level of relaxation and peace.  It reduces stress and anxiety and brings the body, mind, emotions and spirit into balance.

Many illnesses result in blockages in your energy system and Reiki works to clear these to bring about good health and well-being. It is particularly effective for strengthening your immune system and accelerating healing - especially when you have a cold or flu.  A recent client had been sick with the flu for two weeks, and couldn't shake it.  "The flu had depleted my energy levels and I still wasn't feeling 100 per cent," Catriona Pollard said.

"I hadn't tried Reiki before and I was interested to see if it would make me feel any better.  After two sessions I couldn't believe the difference.  I could actually see and feel my energy throughout my body.

"Although I felt increased energy after the Reiki session, it wasn't until the next day that I truly experienced the positive effects."
