Thermo-Auricular Therapy or Ear Candling
Like
many of the complementary therapies available today, Ear
Candling is one of those ancient practices, which have
been lost for many years and is now resurfacing.
Ear candles have been
used traditionally by Shaman healers and can be traced
back to the Indians of North and South
America.
Ear candles are still
made today on the basis of an old original recipe using
only natural ingredients.
Ear candles are used
traditionally to cleanse and harmonise the different
energy fields of the individual and are considered a
classic clearance therapy for many problems related to
the ear and head area.
Ear candles for
adults and children - may be beneficial in the temporary
relief of the symptoms of:- Sinus problems, ear ache,
glue ears, swimmers ear, some chronic headaches, ringing
in the ears (tinnitus), hearing difficulties, irritation
in the ear, sore throat, allergies. Will aid
removal of excessive ear wax. May also relieve
pressure after flying, deep sea diving or whenever an
imbalance of pressure has occurred. i.e. caused by
altitude, the consequences of cold, headphones,
telephones etc. May also help to relax and calm
relieving symptoms of stress and anxiety.
